Hello!

Thank you for checking out my blog! I periodically post session shares below and you can also look through the image galleries above to see what my personal photography style is and how I "see" the gorgeous subjects I get the chance to work with. My creative passion is in photographing babies from birth to their first birthday, but I also enjoy photographing toddlers, children, and families. If my style is a good fit for you, let's talk about planning a session together! Email me at info@laceyreimann.com or phone- 812.630.8096. I pop in frequently on facebook if you'd like to follow me!

Little Mr. Garrett has been photogenic since day 1. I actually first met him on day 14 when he was a dream for his newborn session. His sitter session was even more fun because we were able to capture all of his sweet expressions and personality. Which is exactly why I offer the sitter session complimentary with a regular newborn session. Because I want to see your adorable babies again when they’re chubby, cuddly, expressive–and pure joy! These are the most FUN sessions in the entire first year. Always lots of laughs, oohing and ahhing, smiles, and sweetness.

Garrett and his mommy and daddy have been so fun to work with at our sessions. These two are so devoted to and completely in love with their sweet boy.
They steal kisses from him left and right. It’s no wonder he’s such a happy baby.

And a little then-and-now for you. I thought I’d try the same newborn bear bonnet on Garrett that he wore at his newborn session last October. It fits! :)
The little ivory bear on the far right is the same bear he snuggled with at his newborn session, also.

Although I can’t wait to see Garrett again for his 1st Birthday session in October, for his momma & daddy’s sake,
I hope the next 5 months go by slowly so they can savor the last of his baby days.
Because once they turn one, it’s a whole new ballgame.

I took some time to blog one of many beautiful sessions I’ve had recently. I’ve been fortunate to meet several perfect little newborns since moving into my new studio last June (officially one year tomorrow!). Gorgeous baby Jocelyn (and her equally beautiful family) were so fun to photograph. Jocelyn was a perfectly plump 8 lbs, so I couldn’t resist her cheeks and rolls! The icing on the cake was getting to meet and photograph her big brother, Brooks, with her, too. He has the most irresistible little giggle and the cutest dimpled grin. Even as I swaddled his baby sister before taking a photo of the two of them, he laid down–unprompted–and gently kissed her head. But let’s start off with this photo of momma admiring her newest little love…..

P.S. I’m still offering complimentary sitter sessions (when baby is 6-8 months of age) with newborn sessions! I have August, September, November, and December openings remaining this year. Email for pricing and details:  info@laceyreimann.com

Oh, sweet Emerson….what a handsome, precious baby boy! I absolutely loved this session with Emerson and his momma. Laid back, enjoyable, and so many adorable photos!

As many of Emerson’s family and friends have noted, he is a *very* alert newborn. When he’s awake, he’s fully tuned in.
This kid will look you right in the eye and hold your gaze. Sure does make for some exceptionally cute newborn photos.

The two “outtakes” below cracked me up and HAD to be included. Emerson’s momma was asking him to simmer down and stop
wriggling. I love how he’s looking right at his momma and pointing at himself as if to say, “But look at my cute little face, mom.”

And literally the very next frame was this shot below. He really knows how to charm his momma. And everyone else, for that matter.

So she scooped him up and snuggled him in for a little more milk. And then he drifted right off to sleep.
Turns out, I love the wide-awake shots the most.

P.S. Did you see the announcement (scroll down to previous post) for the special newborn baby session promotion I’ll be offering in conjunction
with the opening of my new studio this spring?! It’s so AWESOME!! I’m very excited about it. My list is already growing! If you’re interested in
getting all the details when the new studio opens, just email your name and due date to info@laceyreimann.com with “NEWBORNS & MILESTONES”
in the subject line and I’ll add you to the announcement list.  Please share this post with friends or family that are expecting!
