My little cousin Drew turned 2 earlier this month and we met up this week for a sunset session at the lake. Age two is obviously a more challenging session than big kids or teenagers, but to capture genuine joy & that sparkle in their eyes is a wonderful reward!
Drew & his daddy have a tight bond and I wanted to document that. When I look at these photos, it makes me happy knowing the value these images will have in the years to come when this little guy has grown up.

Drew has some beautiful blue eyes–not much in the way of lashes–but his eyes just sparkle!
I saved the best part of the session for Drew until last! He L-O-V-E-S water, so we headed down to the bank just as the sun was turning into a beautiful sunset. Off came the shoes & socks so Drew could splash those little feet in the water!

While on vacation in Indy this past week, I had the pleasure of meeting & photographing Emily, Carmel High School Class of 2011. As you’ll notice from the many, many photos below–Emily rocked this session as if she had been modeling for years! We had so much fun as we worked to capture a great variety of shots while racing against the swiftly setting sun. Emily chose the perfect outfits–I loved her dress from Hollister! For high school senior photography, I prefer to create fashion-style images and these photos are a perfect example of what to expect if you schedule your Senior photo session with Lacey Reimann Photography. If you’re seeking traditional photos with the usual props, I’m likely not the photographer for you.
