I thought I’d post this collage of sweet little Landon to make you smile on this Monday after a long holiday weekend! When I was wrapping up editing of this little guy’s proofs on Saturday, I couldn’t help but smile at Landon’s many sweet expressions.

It’s hard to believe what a difference a few months make! It has not even been quite 5 months since Miss Mady turned one in June and she has gone from baby to looking more and more like a little girl! It was so fun & amusing to watch her running here & there with so much confidence & no fear! She would occasionally look over her shoulder to make sure her Mommy, Daddy, and I were keeping up with her! :- )
See how big she’s gotten!

Mady cracks me up–just look at her cute expression in this photo of her getting kisses from Mommy. Two beautiful girls….
By law, a walking-away-from-the-camera shot must be taken at every toddler photo shoot. :- )
Thanks so much, Tara & Neil! It was great catching up with you guys and seeing how much your cute little Mady-cakes has grown!!

Sweet little Landon & his Mommy & Daddy came all the way from Evansville for their session yesterday. Much to our dismay, rain cancelled our plans. Lucky for Landon, he has his very own bed at Grandma & Grandpa’s house in Jasper and was planning on staying all night anyway. Too bad the unseasonably warm temps we had last week didn’t stick around for our session today, but at least we had sunshine! Hanging out with Landon & his adoring fans (Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, & Grandpa) made for a wonderful afternoon! Landon is one lucky little guy to be surrounded by so much love!
Being a color fanatic, I don’t show a lot of black & white images on the blog. But, with these photos, I was equally in love with both the color & black and white versions. I let my hubby help me choose which to share for the sneak peek.
Look at those kissable little cheeks…
I love Landon’s sweet expression in this photo, as well as the fall feel it has.
Handsome little guy….
Oh, how I love this age! Stay tuned for another sneak peek from a sweet little repeat client I met up with today as well!

Finally, the post I’ve been wanting to work on for a couple weeks now is getting blogged! Those who know me and those that actually read my ramblings on the blog know that nature photography was my first love. Long before my twins came along, I was addicted to capturing nature’s beauty with my point and shoot. I literally developed entire roll after roll of nature photos. And filled albums with them. To this day, some of my framed point-and-shoot nature photos hanging in my home are still my favorites. So, whenever I get the chance, I give myself permission to ignore the to-do list and go out & shoot for ME! It’s so rewarding & fulfilling.
Here are some of my favorite fall photos taken in the last few weeks, edited while listening to some beautiful music that’s making me even more sappy than usual. Listen to Enya station on Pandora for gorgeous piano and celtic songs (if you liked the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, you’ll love the Enya station–the playlist includes several scores from those films).

This gorgeous color was over and gone all too soon! Almost all of our trees are now bare here in Southern Indiana.
We recently had the most incredibly beautiful foggy morning. Below, left is a fog rainbow–very neat to see!

And I’ll include this last photo for the sake of humor. This is what a compact economy car looks like with two kayaks racked on the roof. Works fine for us! :- )
