Clemmy & Co. | Natural Pet Portraits
Posted on March 2, 2011
You might be surprised to see this post of almost all dogs on my blog. While I am not a pet photographer, I love to incorporate my clients’ pets into their sessions when possible. For many families, their pets were their first “kids.” I recently photographed Miss Clemmy while in Indianapolis and posted one of her photos on my facebook page here. In response to my fans, I’m posting more from Clementine’s session as well as some other pups I’ve photographed.
Clemmy was so easy to photograph! Encouraging her to “pose” how I wanted was a breeze!

If you’re a blog follower, you probably recognize these handsome fellas (here and here)! Sweet Crosley was so patient to let us capture
this photo of her and the boys. Can you imagine having three little brothers?!! ;- )

In addition, Crosley also has a “little sister”, Mags. Being a puppy, Mags is very energetic and knows how to find *ahem* trouble.
She may or may not have eaten a package of portraits that the UPS man delivered. Let’s just say that I saw the evidence and it looked pretty incriminating.
Good thing they purchased digital files & could easily reorder!
We’ll wrap this post up with Lucy, one of my father’s dogs. She has a reputation for being slightly annoying–always under your heels,
in your face, and–if you sit down–on your lap, despite being fairly large. The word “no” is beyond her grasp.

This concludes the first-ever pet post! I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below or on facebook!

Those are awesome and I’m super impressed. I’ve photographed pets a time or two and I thought it was challenging, but fun!
I’m pretty sure you could photograph a pet rock and it would look incredible. Great pics!!
Thanks, friends! And, you’re funny, Rachel! :- ) P.S. I bet Miss Cora has changed so much since last fall, you really need to email me an updated snapshot of her!! I’m guessing her hair is longer, now, too?!
These are absolutely beautiful! You can see their personalities in the photographs.
Oh my! Clemmy is so cute!!! Very photogenic.
I am trying to talk my husband into getting our 3 dogs pictures taken. You know who I will come to when I finally get him to say yes!
