“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.”  ~Anne Bradstreet

A very fitting quote for this post. If you’ve followed my blog for very long, you probably know that nature was my first photography love and it is still a great passion of mine. If I am in need of a little photo therapy, setting out with my camera to capture the beauty of nature brings me great joy! I prefer to lose track of time and soak up every visual detail around me.

March has been a grief-filled month, primarily due to an overwhelming family emergency earlier this month and days spent at the hospital. My uncle, who was in a major car accident, is now home and has been remarkable in his recovery!! There are no words to express how grateful I am for my Uncle Matt!

With Spring’s much-welcomed arrival, I look forward to the days and weeks to come! It is a time for fresh starts and all things beautiful! After rescheduling some March sessions, this blog will be busy in April with new posts of beautiful babies and beautiful faces! Note, April is fully booked but there are one or two sessions up for grabs in May. Email me at info@laceyreimann.com for details.

In the past, I have been pleased to get a good response to my nature photography posts. I have so many flower and nature photos, taken throughout last year, that were never shared. I’ll be taking many more this year, of course! So, I’d like to start doing a Nature post here on the blog once a month! Up next: either a newborn (due any day) or an irresistible one-year old baby boy! Stay tuned!
