Well, on Monday I had my first high school senior GUY session, and I think you can tell from Ben’s senior pictures below that I really enjoyed it!! I initially thought I only wanted to photograph Senior girls–I can now say that I will gladly be taking more Senior guy sessions going forward! If you know a senior guy that wants an awesome, laid-back, easy session, send him my way!
The entire session was awesome from start to finish!! But, I think what surprised me the most was how much FUN I had taking football photos!!
This was one of my five-star favorites that I just had to share on facebook, Monday!
It was really cool to get some great shots of Ben and his younger brother, Noah–a freshman.
Another fun shot I just had to get…..
Did I mention Ben is an accomplished athlete??! He plays football, basketball, and is on the track team!
I have so, so many more favorites from Ben’s session, but I figured I better wrap up processing for the night and get these posted.
Someone (*ahem*, hi, Kristine!) is anxiously waiting to see them! : )

Meet the girl next door–literally–my neighbor, Haley! I was thrilled that Haley chose me to shoot her Senior pictures. It has been so much fun working with her! Taking her Senior pictures has made me realize how fast time flies–when my husband and I moved into our house, Haley was just 7 years old!!
One of my favorite things about a Senior photo session? Bringing the model out in each Senior!! I love it!!
I love how Senior pictures have changed over the years! Gone are the days of cheesy props and funky backdrops.
Now, Senior pictures look more like images from a modeling portfolio.

I’m starting to get a little envious of all the awesome earrings, bracelets, and rings my HS Senior girls have!! : )

Haley plays volleyball & softball with the Dubois Lady Jeeps!
On Monday I’ll be doing a shoot with a Senior guy from Forest Park–stay tuned for that post next week!

No more sleeping in and mornings spent watching cartoons. No more weekday visits to Holiday World. Vacation at Lake Michigan came and went. And now the new school year has begun. Once again this year, the twins just couldn’t focus on photo ops–they were so excited for the bus to get here. (See last year’s First Day of Kindergarten photo here.) They were both really excited to see their class friends again. I can’t wait to hear all about their first day of First Grade when they get home this afternoon! As usual, I’m going to do a little “interview” with them and video it. I decided to make it a tradition after looking back at the first-day-of-preschool video interview I did when they were so little and cute at just 3 1/2 years old! If you get the chance, take a few seconds to turn on the video camera and ask your little one(s) about their first day(s) at school. In a year or two, you’ll look back and be really glad you captured that little slice of time and sweetness! Happy new school year, everyone!!

On Monday morning I met up with these cute little girly-girls! Miss Olivia & Miss Abby had the cutest little dresses and all the accessories a girl could want! : ) Lucky us, we had PERFECT weather at the beginning of our session–70s, a light breeze, and it was just all around wonderful. By the time time we were ready to wrap it up and call it a day, it had definitely warmed up a lot! Who’s ready for Fall??!! I, for one, am! Although, I may be too busy to enjoy much of October–I’m completely booked up!
This is the precious photo I posted last night on facebook:
It can’t be said enough, sisters are so lucky to have each other!! It is these moments and days that they may not remember when they get older.
Independent, strong-willed, and a little bit feisty…..my kind of toddler!! This cute little doll was very entertaining!
Big sister Olivia came ready to model–totally why I love this age!! She has the whitest, lightest blonde hair and fair complexion.
And she loves accessorizing! : )

Oh, Abby, you’re such a cutie pie!!

I loved this shot in color and black and white. Which is your favorite?
And one more seriously cute photo of Abby having fun!
Brooke, this is a sample of the cuteness that will be waiting in your proofing gallery coming soon!!
