Reid is 2! {Jasper, IN Children’s Photographer}
Posted on November 8, 2012
I’m realizing I’ve neglected writing posts for this blog as I’ve done more quick posts via facebook this year. But, I prefer blogging when time allows, because I really like putting a series of favorite session photos together in one place to tell the story. So, I’m taking a break near the end of crazy busy season to share one of my FAVORITE Fall sessions! I greatly appreciate working with Joni. When a photographer and client’s styles mesh well and they’ve worked together many times, the sessions just get better and better. I came home from this session with the biggest smile on my face that lasted all evening……
Reid & his doggie “Woof Woof.”
Reid just celebrated his 2nd birthday and will soon become a big brother!
Could she look any more beautiful?!
Did you see the latest in our series of mother-and-son portraits? Check it out here.

A Sneak Peek for Grant’s Mommy {Jasper, IN Baby Photographer}
Posted on October 10, 2012
.
It has been a very busy but wonderful month–and we’re only 10 days in! While I haven’t had time to write and prepare blog posts, I have been sharing lots of sneak peeks over on facebook. Since Grant’s Mommy isn’t on facebook, I just had to put together a little blog sneak peek from our gorgeous session yesterday. I really enjoyed this session from start to finish! We had a very fast runner on our hands, but Grant’s Mommy & Daddy were up for the task (and so laid back). As a team, we created some fun and beautiful images to mark this little guy’s 1st Birthday!! Here are a couple for now until things slow down and I can share a lot more from all my recent sessions here on the blog!
How cool! Grant’s 1st Birthday party theme was something he’s really into right now: boxes!! : )
Lucky kid to have such a fun Mommy & Daddy!

Allison, Springs Valley High School Class of 2013 {French Lick, IN Senior Pictures}
Posted on September 18, 2012
.
My first Valley girl Senior session and it was a blast! Although I don’t have an athletic bone in my body, I have to say, I LOVE doing senior sports portraits. After doing some scouting prior to Allison’s session, my brain was firing left and right with ideas for her volleyball pictures. From sporty to urban chic, we captured a great variety in Allison’s session. Here are a few favorites from her HUGE gallery.
This shot was a request for Allison’s Dad. The reflected clouds and sky made the perfect backdrop!
Big sis & little bro. Jake was a big help and fun to join us at the end of our session.

More senior sessions coming–including an SV guy in October! Like me on facebook for sneak peeks: https://www.facebook.com/laceyreimannphotography

Home Tour: New England Style Country Cottage {Jasper, IN Real Estate Photographer}
Posted on August 22, 2012
.
Another thing I adore: homes and gardens! My favorite magazines are Better Homes and Gardens, Coastal Living, and Country Living. My favorite Pinterest boards are Interior Design Inspiration and Exterior Inspiration & Outdoor Spaces. And my favorite thing to do these days is gather ideas for our new house we will be building! I’ve always loved my friend Mindy’s house–we share a similar style. When I visited Mindy last week, I took my camera with the intention of taking a few photos for myself. Before I knew it, I had done a whole-house photo shoot. I know many of my blog readers also enjoy home and interior design eye candy, so I decided to share a few favorites here! Enjoy!
Mindy’s side porch/stoop is always invitingly decked out with seasonal plants in pots and the window box.
It is a show-stopper every Fall! I’ll take pictures this year!
Mindy’s favorite thing is her artful arrangement of gardening tools over the door.

This inviting porch has beautiful views all around!

Naturally I’m head over heels for all these windows and how bright, airy, and open her home is!
My absolute favorite piece in Mindy’s house is this gorgeous vintage dresser & mirror that she decorates for each season.
It is currently showcasing her found vacation treasures from Sanibel Island.
I can easily picture this house in the pages of Country Living!

I love the colors she chose to paint her stair risers.
Greeting me at the end of Mindy’s long, winding lane was an incredibly gorgeous field of vibrant zinnias–just one of the many beautiful
cutting flowers Mindy grows. Colorful zinnias were my wedding flowers–courtesy of my generous & talented friend Mindy!
She also created the gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres for my sister’s wedding.

I am grateful for wonderful friends and the opportunity to spend a beautiful day with them!
What is your favorite part of Mindy’s house? If you see something you love, feel free to pin away!
