Reid at 18 Months! {Jasper, IN Children’s Photographer}

It was a beautiful morning this time last year that I met (and fell in love with) sweet, smiley, 7-month-old baby Reid. He wasn’t your usual chubby 7-month old–he was a little guy. But that little guy packed enough sweetness for two babies!
I got to see Reid again in October to capture him at one whole year!
I met up with Reid and his momma again last month to capture him at a very busy 18 months! : ) His momma had told me he had grown and
changed a lot since his first birthday. When they got out of the car, I couldn’t believe how much he had changed. He’s totally filled out
now (must’ve been the birthday cake), has a ton of hair, and has transformed from a baby into a little boy!!
A little boy who loves tractors…
Who also still loves snuggling with his momma. : )
What a difference a year makes!

Miss Madelyn {Jasper, IN Children’s Photographer}

Did I mention how wonderful my mini-sessions went? It was such a gorgeous evening spent with some sweet kiddos, including Miss Madelyn!
Little girls are so fun to photograph. They are so relaxed in front of the camera and happy to oblige!
Madelyn had a new toothless smile to show off since our last session! So cute!
And I had to share a couple favorites from our session this past October that I haven’t posted here or on facebook.
Madelyn & her little dog, Rascal, are so cute together!

A Mother’s Love {Jasper, IN Baby & Children’s Photographer}

I wanted to take the time to put together a post of a few of my favorite mother and child photos from the past three and a half years. These images make me happy. As a daughter and a mother, I know the amazing gift of a mother’s love. I am grateful for all the wonderful mothers out there–the world needs more like these. Thank you, friends, for bringing your beautiful babies and kiddos to me. Happy Mother’s Day to all my wonderful clients, friends, family, and readers! I hope you take some time to count your blessings and slow down for a bit today!

Haley Claire is 1! {Jasper, IN Baby’s First Birthday Photographer}

It’s always so exciting to see my little babies again, see how much they’ve grown, and enjoy their unique and entertaining personalities! And, little Miss Haley Claire is a comedian! She might only be one, but she already stands her ground with her big brother (and maybe even calls the shots already), she is funny and likes to get a laugh out of her fans, and she’s super cute, too! Look how much she’s grown in her first year!
Just a year ago, I was photographing Miss Haley as a chubby, adorable, easy going newborn.
And now she recently celebrated her 1st Birthday!
Perhaps this goes without saying, but she really loved her cake! : )
I’ve been doing a lot of “then and now” posts on facebook lately. The sentimentalist in me can’t help it!
So, here is our sweet sibling photo from Haley’s newborn session:

And I love this glimpse of family life with two little ones under 3. It’s demanding and tiring, I know, but these two are well-suited for the task
and wonderful parents!

Cute! Cute! Reid sure does look like such a sweet little guy! And look at all that hair!
